What is one more chance film? One More Chance Filmmakers Merlyne and Romeo Crisostomo started their own production company with the aim of making films that will inspire and connect people to life. One of the films they had created, "One More Chance," was recently released on November 18th and had a subscription-based premiere at Cinema for All for a free screening. They had traveled across the world in order to make this project, but it cost them more than one thousand dollars in fees and lost income. Now, they're on a mission to raise money so they can produce more movies like this one. The Crisostomos' inspiration for "One More Chance" came from a couple who lost their five-year-old daughter due to cancer. The couple decided to stay optimistic and grateful despite the tragedy. As such, they eventually got married and had another child. However, this second baby also died due to cancer at the age of eight weeks. Even though this second tragedy hurt them tremendously, they continued to seek ways to help other cancer patients and families that have suffered through similar experiences as them. The Crisostomo brothers want others to see how powerful love and optimism can be in one's life, especially during times of hardship and loss. The One More Chance team believed that if they could help others with the story of their family's life experiences, they would finally ease their own pain and be able to continue to build a happy life together. Through the film, the Crisostomo brothers wanted to share what they had learned about true love and hope and how to heal with other cancer patients and their loved ones. After its premiere, One More Chance was shown in many film festivals nationwide for which he received Best Feature Film nomination at the 2015 Diplo Awards.
